Port forwarding

Port Forwarding pour qBittorrent — Huawei Router

1. Check Possibility (CGNAT )

Before doing anything, If your ip Start 100.x.x.x or 10.x.x.x. This is CGNAT. Port forwarding will not work without a VPN.

2. Prepare the PC

  1. Set a Static Local IP: The router needs to know exactly where the PC is. Open a terminal (ipconfig), find your IPv4 address (e.g., 192.168.100.55), and set it as static in your OS Network Adapter settings.
  2. Choose the Torrent Port: Open qBittorrent -> Settings -> Connection. Note the port number (49152 or higher to avoid interference with other services as well as being blocked by your ISP, which is common on lower ports well-known ports ). - Disable UPnP / NAT-PMP in the client to prevent conflicts.

3. Router Configuration (IPv4 Port Mapping)

Navigate to the router's Forward Rules or Port Mapping section. Create a new "User-defined" application rule. Fill in the fields exactly like this (using 1:1 mapping):

*Save and apply the settings maybe reboot idk i didnt need it.

4. Vérification

1. Pare-feu Windows (wf.msc)

2. Redémarrage

4. Vérification
